Have you heard about moving saved progress between different game sessions? Since you backed up your Crysis files before resetting your PC, you should be able to transfer those saves to another instance.
They could both exist in Origin. Your saved files may be synced to the cloud. Look at these common spots: C:\Users\<username>\Saved Games. For instance, C:\Users\<username>\Saved Games\Crysis2\SaveGames or Crysis 3\User\SaveGames. Verify the same directory inside your backup folder. If they weren’t saved there, they might have been lost when you reinstalled. But if you locate them, simply move the save folders from their original location to the same place in your new setup.
Both versions share the same origin, yet they aren't connected to the cloud. I have the previous save files, but I can't locate the save games directory during the new setup.
