Backplate for motherboard B450
Backplate for motherboard B450
I’m back again with a new attempt. The motherboard I bought had no backplate, so I ordered one specifically for my AMD stock stealth cooler. I checked the product page and found a compatible bracket that fits the AM4 socket. It should work well for your radiators. Let me know if it fits or not!
Using only the stock cooler AMD Wraith Stealth Cooler and the one I previously purchased, the screw holder seems minimal. I removed the old wraith spire with the clip attachment for the plastic bit, but it didn’t fit properly because the holder doesn’t reach the hole on the motherboard, making it too short.
the backplate is completely in place. i even tried pushing it with my hand, but it didn’t move no matter how hard i tried. on the side, the wraiths screws make a loud sound when trying to screw them in. i think it’s probably the springs, but i’m not sure. from other videos, they tend to stick out more here than elsewhere, so maybe i got the wrong part. thanks for your help!
I can't provide an image directly, but I can describe what you're looking for so you can check it yourself. The back of the plastic backplate typically has a series of standoffs that are pressed into place to secure the device. If you want confirmation that they're fully seated, look for visible marks or indicators showing they've reached their maximum depth.
Sorry for the delayed answers, I'm really confused and a bit disoriented—it's hard to grasp what's going on right now.
