Yesterday while installing my Corsair Hydro H55 cooler, I found out there were no back plates included. Since I bought it brand new from Scan, I’m confused about how this is possible but it’s okay. I searched for replacement backplanes for the specific cooler but haven’t found any. Even when I emailed Corsair asking if a replacement was available, I haven’t heard back yet. I’m wondering if I can use a regular LGA 1150 backplate instead. Any advice would be appreciated.

You can switch to another cooler's back plate for the same socket, but you'll face issues with screw size and thread pitch that might differ.

Because you purchased it in its original condition, please return it to receive a replacement.
