I need to upgrade my Corsair K55 keyboard since it’s nearing the end of its lifespan and the keys feel less responsive. I recently returned a Logitech G213 because it was deteriorating after only eight months, so I’m searching for a reliable alternative for the K55.

I’m aiming for a full-size keyboard with a numpad and backlit keys, as I often play in low-light conditions. More importantly, I want durable keys, good anti-ghosting performance, and a solid polling rate for gaming. It should also be wired.

Do you have any experience with keyboards like this? A budget under £100 would be perfect, with the lower the better, but quality is essential too.

Thanks in advance.

I want to upgrade my Corsair K55 keyboard because it’s nearing the end of its lifespan, and the responsiveness has dropped significantly.

It appears to be a membrane keyboard. Are you referring to the Logitech model mentioned earlier?
I have some experience with similar keyboards. After switching to the K65 about ten years ago, I moved to a Keychron Q1v2, which came with a custom keycap set. I can easily replace the switches whenever I wish since it’s a hot-swappable model.
Most importantly, I’m concerned about the longevity of the keys.
I usually go for mechanical keyboards because they’re built to last. Membrane models feel like cheap plastic now, and you’ll likely need to change keys frequently due to the design of each brand’s keycaps. Plus, there aren’t separate keycap options available for membrane keyboards.
From a simple search, I found an option on Amazon.co.uk:
ROG Strix Scope II X 100% Gaming Keyboard, with hot-swappable pre-lubed NX Snow V2 Mechanical switches, multifunction controls, PBT double-action keycaps, silicone dampening foam, and a wrist rest.
Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories
Buy
www.amazon.co.uk
But keep in mind there are many choices available.

I am having a real problem finding a 100% keyboard that doesn't break the bank and checks all the boxes.
So far the K70 has been the only one. But this ASUS one looks nice, but only issue is the delay in delivery.
Edit:
How about this ?
