You can uninstall Norton Antivirus without losing your copy. Simply follow the removal steps in the Norton software, then delete or disconnect the installation files from your PC to free up space. Restoring the copy is possible once you remove it.

If it was a free trial, it’s linked to your computer. For an active subscription, you can use it on another machine without issues. The monitor setup allows multiple PCs to receive updates under the same subscription. You’re free to switch PCs as often as needed, but only keep one at a time.

Subscription software typically offers an unregister or deregister feature. After completing that action, you can reuse the same instance across different devices. I saw this advice in another forum: "If you wish to handle it yourself, log into Norton Management using your Norton account email and password. Go to the My Account section, locate your product with the installation details, and click the trash icon next to the one you want to recover. For easier management later, install Norton Management on all devices covered by your subscription and assign them meaningful names. Then, if you need to manage a particular computer’s subscription, it will appear in the My Devices tab. You can access Norton Management at www.manage.norton.com."
