Hi, I'm having issues with my Tomahawk B550. When I power on the PC, all the LEDs blink and then nothing happens. I attempted to update the BIOS using a 32GB 3.0 USB and an 8GB 2.0 USB, but nothing seems to work. With the 3.0 model, pressing the Flash Bios button made the red LED flash for about 10-15 seconds before turning off. When I tried to restart, the system remained unchanged. With the 2.0 model, the LED still flashed for 10-15 seconds and stayed on this time, but after more than 10 minutes it didn't work. I followed the suggestion to rename the file "MSI.ROM" and format the drive as FAT32. Is this because the 5600X was already installed on the motherboard? I'd rather not reinstall it.
Did you turn on file extensions before renaming it to MSI.ROM? The resulting name could be something like "MSI.ROM.A81" if extensions weren't enabled.
The file name extensions aren't showing up as expected, even though I'm using the correct USB port. I've tested other ports to confirm it's the right one, but it still displays "MSI.ROM." I'm using the standard port for normal operation.
