B550 offers a bit fewer SATA and USB ports, yet includes more Gen+ PCIe options, which can accommodate additional SATA/USB connections. It's also expected to support higher-end processors in the coming years.

it's worth mentioning that certain B550 boards can handle PCIe Gen 4, and my Aorus Elite B550 V2 supports running the 3060ti on PCIe Gen 4
