b450m ram slots for 3D RAM modules

Hello, I’m not very familiar with computers overall, but I enjoy gaming. You have a B450M DS3H motherboard from Gigabyte, with RAM sticks installed in slots 3 and 4. Would switching to slots 2 and 4 give you improved performance?

Second and fourth positions must be chosen. From the CPU perspective, starting at third and fourth (B1B2), you don’t even have dual channel. : )

Confirmed, 2 and 4 are essential. Also activate bios and turn on XMP.

Yes, counting from left to right shows slot 2 and 4 as the best setup...refer to the guide...ddr4_1 and ddr4_2
