Bonjour, je viens de poser une petite question. J'ai un Asrock B450M Pro 4 avec un processeur 5600X et j'utilise deux kits : Team T-FORCE VULCAN Z 16 Go (2 x 8 Go) avec 288 pines RAM DDR4 à 3200 MHz (PC4 25600) et Intel XMP 2.0. Actuellement, j'ai 4 stick de 8 Go chacun, ce qui fonctionne parfaitement. J'ai remarqué que le site Asrock indique que la mémoire maximale supportée est de 2 slots sur 4. Avant un mois, j'utilisais 2 sticks de 8 Go et tout fonctionnait bien. Maintenant, avec 4 sticks de 8 Go, tout fonctionne encore, mais mes performances semblent ralentir par rapport à l'ancien système. J'ai aussi vu 32 Go en bios et en Windows, et XMP est toujours actif avec la bonne vitesse. Pourriez-vous penser que j'ai plus de mémoire que ce que le processeur peut gérer ? Je suis un Canadien, mais ma langue maternelle est le français. Merci !

Download the ZenTimings program and capture a screenshot. The timing issues might be visible in the image, helping confirm any inconsistencies that could be slowing down the system.

I’d check the QVL lists for that board if you were me. My recent 5900X build had some frustrating, sporadic RAM problems about a month ago. It turns out the RAM I used isn’t listed there, which might be the cause. I’ll avoid building another machine or changing my memory setup without reviewing the board’s QVL again.

the ram was listed in QVL but the motherboard required using just two of the four slots from the 5000 series.

Everything seems normal except for the tRC value which should be 56 instead of 73. Overall it looks like standard auto timing, and it's running in single-threaded mode, which is what I expected. Performance shouldn't drop completely as you mentioned. Consider doing a memory stress test using tools like Memtest86, as instability can cause more subtle slowdowns. Also, were benchmarks performed before or after this change?

The site may have misinterpreted the motherboard's capabilities. It actually allows four dimming options—two per channel and two channels total.
