B450m Aorus Elite dual M.2 SSD issue is occurring.
Hello, your issue involves compatibility between the NVMe SSD and your motherboard. The M2A_Socket supports NVMe Gen 3 drives, but the M2B_Socket only supports SATA III devices. Since your PC uses an M2A_Socket, it should recognize the NVMe SSD, yet it doesn't boot to it and instead boots to the M2B_Socket drive. Check your motherboard manual or manufacturer support to confirm the correct socket for NVMe Gen 3 NVMe drives. Make sure the SSD is properly seated in the M2A_Socket and try connecting it there.
The SATA port options depend on the device placed inside the M.2 slots. The M2A_SOCKET uses the same bandwidth as ASATA3 connectors, while the M2B_SOCKET shares with SATA3 connectors. See the manual for specifics. Try removing the drives and check if it appears.
