I recently upgraded my setup from a Sabertooth x58 + Xeon X5675 with 8GB RAM. Now I'm using an Asus Prime B450M-A board and a Ryzen 3 3200G paired with 16GB Corsair RGB Pro. It feels sluggish, and any attempts to overclock seem to require resetting the CMOS. Any tips on improving performance would be greatly appreciated.

I didn’t actually do it, just installed the new component driver. Maybe a fresh installation would be better?

Sometimes you encounter multiple problems when upgrading components like the CPU or motherboard if you don't reinstall Windows, so I'd try it.

When you purchased that MOBO did you need to update the BIOS or was it ready to use right out of the box? You're thinking about building a PC with the same MOBO, RAM, and CPU.
