I didn't knew that we have to mount the hyper 212 in Tomahawk max in a very weird position which mess all the case airflow. They provide the Am4 bracket which restrict you to only mount the CPU Cooler facing from GPU to Top Vents (see images). As there are not much information on the internet not even on youtube (as far as i have searched). JUST DON'T Buy this cooler on AM4. I made my mistake. For reference here is the youtube video

Hyper 212 offers comparable cooling efficiency to the standard cooler. If the cooler was fully installed, performance remains satisfactory. The airflow helps manage heat, directing hot air away from the top of the GPU toward the CPU cooler.

The stock cooler with the Ryzen 5 3600 kept my CPU temperature stable at about 80-85°C during battlefield and COD WZ gameplay. In contrast, the 212 cooler maintained a cooler 65-70°C.

Your Hyper 212 is quite a bit older than you might think. It doesn’t include the collapsible X-bracket or the stand-offs that came with it.

I purchased this cooler recently. It doesn't include the X Collapsible bracket; instead, it comes with three distinct styles: Intel, AMD (older), and AMD AM4 socket.

Good for stock cooling setup. Throttling kicks in around 87°C-90°C, so the original cooler should work just fine. The Hyper 212 EO performs better than the regular 212 but isn't the top choice for upgrading from a stock cooler. A solid upgrade would be the Artic Freezer Esports 34/34Duo or even the Esports 50.

Is this a snapshot of your unboxing? If yes, I believe you should connect the two metal bars on the right side of the one you highlighted. It's been a couple of years since CM began sending them with AM4 mounting—quite odd if they weren't in the box. Regardless, even with the current setup, hot air should rise properly; as long as your top case fan is expelling heat, temperatures will stay under control. It functions similarly to how it would if air were directed toward a rear exhaust fan.
