Yeah, I don't believe they ever turned it off, honestly.

I'm having issues getting the Asrock B450M to start with an R5 3600. Could you check the link you shared? It might help to know more about your setup so we can compare.

You're looking to upgrade after a long break—building a new system with a Ryzen processor is a smart move.

They're looking for an MSI B450 board with USB BIOS flashing capability, specifically without a CPU.

When purchasing new, verify the latest details directly from the seller. Alternatively, consider acquiring a board that includes updated bios.

I’m considering either beating the built-in specs or matching performance while undercutting the price. Right now it’s around 8700 with 1060 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD, and 1TB HDD. The budget is tight since she wants everything—chairs, monitors, peripherals—and she knows her total won’t cover $900. I’m checking PCPartPicker to see if this approach is typical for sellers.

R5 2600s are selling for around $120, while RX 5700s are available for $320 to $330. You can likely purchase both with only slight discounts on the rest of your PC parts. Expect to find an RX 470/480/570/580 on eBay for $80 to $120. eBay also offers PayPal Credit with 0% interest over six months.
