B450 Mortar performance problems and memory errors.
Hello! Your Msi B450 Mortar isn’t responding to overclocking attempts. It keeps restarting whenever you adjust memory settings or voltage. You have 16GB RAM, but it only shows 8GB in Windows and the rest disappears. No luck so far—please let me know if you need further guidance.
Launch msconfig, select the boot section. Go to the advanced settings. Disable Maximum memory if it’s checked. When using dual sticks, ensure they’re placed in slots A2 and B2. Provide the memory specifications for guidance. The CPU-Z tool and SPD details will assist, along with the memory part number.
I've attempted all possible solutions already. It still isn't resolving.
Test each stick separately in slot A1 to see if the issue lies with the memory or if the motherboard/CPU IMC is faulty.
