Hi, I saw these two motherboards and need help figuring out which fits better. I picked the Black Asus ROG Strix B450-F for £100 and the White Asus ROG Strix B550-A for £170. Both are good options, but which one works best with a 3300X or 3100? Let me know your preference! Thank you.

Only these two options exist. They aren't excellent and come at a higher cost. If you prefer ASUS, opt for the B550 TUF.

The main focus should be on aesthetics. Which ones look best and enhance the visual appeal?

The B450-F is awful, opt for the B550-A instead.

The Strix B550-A offers significant improvements but may be excessive for a quad-core setup. A suitable middle-ground choice exists that supports even a 16-core processor smoothly: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/7gxb...b550-a-pro

This wouldn't fit a B550 setup, but focusing on the 3100 and 3300X would be a better choice.

Zen 3 and 3rd generation CPUs should support Zen 3 instructions, but compatibility with 3rd gen features depends on specific models. Check the latest specifications for exact support.

B550 works with Zen 2 (excluding APUs) and Zen 3 (if the BIOS is up to date).
