The VRM controls six phases with a four-channel plus two-channel setup. The SOC employs a split or teamed 2+2 arrangement. My mistake.

Someone has experimented with using their own VRM heat sinks. I’ve built mine from large, thick aluminum OEM parts found in old computers, and I’m flexible about the dimensions.
