Hey everyone, I’m considering swapping my current Zen+ CPU for a Zen3 in my B450 Aorus Pro. Since it’s not Wi-Fi enabled, I want to keep the same motherboard for now. I’m planning to upgrade later this year and might need a different MMO. Right now I can update my BIOS to be ready for Zen3 support, but I’m unsure if my Zen+ chip will still work with the latest BIOS (F61 supports G-series, F60 is for Zen3). I checked the official Gigabyte site, but it seems some manufacturers stop supporting older chips to make room for new ones. It’s possible Zen+ isn’t included, which would mean I’d have to buy a new chip and flash it myself. The app center suggests it can’t find a compatible BIOS, so I might need to do the update manually. No onboard Q-flash means I’ll have to handle the installation myself. Let me know your thoughts!
