Hello, Here's a weird issue I've been having for a while. My Build: - B450 Aorus M (Gigabyte), latest BIOS - Geforce 1070 - Ryzen 5 3600 - Display: LG 27GN800-B The Problem: On startup, when plugged to my 1440p monitor via displayport, if CSM is enabled , I have no signal until the Windows 10 login screen, preventing me from accessing the BIOS. If I disable CSM, the issue disappears. When plugged on a 1080p display, the problem never occurs, no matter if CSM is enabled or disabled. Troubleshooting steps I took: - Flashing the latest BIOS version - Messing with other settings in the BIOS - Disabling the full screen boot logo (to default to the historical Megatrends boot screen) - Contacting Gigabyte (issue not processed yet) My questions: - What's the correlation between CSM and display output? - Do any of your ever experienced/fixed a similar issue? I had identified the issue a while ago but didn't really care. With Windows 11 coming and the need for secure boot (which itself requires CSM to be disabled), this may become a real issue soon. Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi, this could be linked to your graphics card's firmware. Have you tried connecting to your 1440p display using an HDMI cable? If that works, it might be worth checking out the NVIDIA tool mentioned: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/nv-...pdate-x64/. You seem knowledgeable about this, but I’d suggest proceeding with caution during firmware updates and having a backup plan in case something goes wrong. Bricking your GPU at this point would be really unfortunate. Good luck!

Thank you for your message. It's great to hear the update worked! You didn't know about this firmware tool before, that's okay.
