Do you know if the 3600 chipset is included with this motherboard when it ships? Gigabyte mentions it works after BIOS F40, but I’m not sure which model came out ready to go. Could be it depends on the specific version.

It should be fairly certain that it should.

Typically these boards come with Zen 2 support included. If the box lists 'Ryzen 3000 ready,' that confirms it. Otherwise, you might need to request an update from the seller or a local shop. Do you already have this model in stock?

I created a fresh spec list just for him, making sure it’s tailored perfectly for his little brother. I’m confident it will work flawlessly.

Is the board unnecessary or could it be more affordable?

In my opinion, all Giga B450 boards fall short. They lack a digital voltage controller and don’t support loadline calibration, making overclocking impossible. Overall, they’re quite disappointing. Even the Aorus Elite variant isn’t much better. The VRM output is subpar, so unless you’re extremely budget-conscious, it’s best to look for another solid option.

I’m looking for a solid, trustworthy board. Since the PC is meant for a young child who barely understands computers, I don’t think they’ll be doing any overclocking. The price here is around 137 dollars (with 17% VAT), and there aren’t many options available. Amazon or Newegg isn’t an option internationally, and it’s probably going to cost even more.

The prices for those models range from around $1,500 to over $3,000 depending on the specific configuration and retailer.

None of these options are accessible right now... isn't that awesome?
