Hey everyone! I was assembling a PC this evening with the new 1600AF and paired it with a B350M Pro VD Plus. I wasn’t getting any POST or any beep codes, and the monitor just stayed black. How does a BIOS mismatch work? Can you access the BIOS menu? I’m really struggling to get further.

Yes, you can interact without a CPU. It should trigger UEFI to load, allowing you to flash the device.

When the BIOS fails to detect the CPU, it appears as though there is no processor at all. This means the decorative lights may illuminate, the fan might spin, but the diagnostic LEDs remain inactive.
