Hello everyone, so I'm planning to purchase a gigabyte B250 mATX MB for my new motherboard and I was wondering if I can overclock the CPU's turbo. I understand with the B250 you can't overclock the CPU itself, but could I still boost its turbo using the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility? Additionally, another question: will the Arctic Freezer 33 cooler fit onto the GA-B250M-D3H Gigabyte MB I'm buying?
I think you can still do it, but it's better to save your money and buy the non-K model if you want a B250. It will fit your mobile without any issues.
Yes, a 7700k can still benefit from turbo boost on a b250, but you won't be able to overclock the CPU.
