Details : gigabyte B550 gaming with Ryzen 7 3700X processor, RTX 2060 graphics, Corsair I DDR3 memory, FCLK set to 1600MHz. Monitor isn't displaying anything after changing settings. CMOS removed for 5 minutes and reinserted, but issue persists—PC powers on and off twice before staying on. Suspect B1 and B2 slots stopped working after adjusting FCLK. Swapped RAM to A1 and A2 and it worked. Question: Are the B1 and B2 slots still unusable? They functioned properly before.

This seems quite unusual. I didn't anticipate any harm to your board. It's conceivable it might affect the CPU's memory controller, though unless you increased voltages, damage there shouldn't occur. Particularly with DDR4-3200 supported on Zen 2 and a 1600MHz FCLK, you might want to check for a BIOS update to address any known issues.

I recommend using A2 and B2 for dual channel setup because the memory controllers are labeled A and B with their own primary and secondary slots. The fclk impacts communication with the I/O die, meaning if reseating the CPU isn't possible, it might be the final solution. I wouldn't try this unless you can't get memory controller A to boot properly in a correct A2/B2 setup.

I'm unable to start the PC when RAM is installed in the A2 and B2 slots, which was the original setup.

Beyond previous attempts, consider a UEFI update/flash or reseating the CPU as potential solutions. FCLK might interfere with a damaged memory controller, though unusual occurrences can happen. Reseating the CPU is a final step to eliminate any remaining issues that CMOS clearing or UEFI flash can't fix. If the socket type is LGA, try it first; however, AM4 poses a risk due to PGA pins. Another option is testing only one DIMM in slot B2 to determine if changes occur.

The auto clock isn't working and your RAM isn't showing up in RGB Fusion 2.0. You'd like to alter its appearance.
