B, N, SPACE, LEFT ARROW Not Functioning.
I own a Dell Windows laptop. It functioned well at first, but recently the keys in the title stop working. The only time it responds is when you place it in a specific position (hard to describe in text). I’m unsure if the problem is software or hardware. For hardware, applying pressure might help; for software, it doesn’t work even with an external keyboard. I’m open to more details if you ask. I’d prefer not to reset the laptop. Any advice would be appreciated.
I discovered a discussion on the Dell forums and realized many users with various Dell laptops experience similar problems. The suggested fix involved four actions: restart the laptop, clear any debris under the keys, run a diagnostic test using Dell’s SupportAssist, and update your keyboard drivers. I wasn’t sure if these steps resolved the issue. The solution was provided by a Dell community manager.
