Hi, I see you're dealing with performance throttling on your Acer Aspire 5 (Aspire A514-53G) with a 10th gen i7 CPU. It sounds like you're experiencing the same problem others have reported on Reddit. If you could share more details about the symptoms or any recent changes, I might be able to offer further guidance. Thank you for reaching out!

Check if Can ThrottleStop resolves the throttling issue. Share ThrottleStop images for assistance. The Limit Reasons feature lists the cause of throttling.

Persistent problem with inexpensive laptops running their CPU at 66% battery life. Likely a firmware issue embedded in the BIOS that can't be easily resolved. If a solution existed, ThrottleStop would have been unnecessary.

It works, though often only when the device isn't connected. Running ThrottleStop during charging keeps it at 0.390-0.900MHz. Let's adjust your settings if needed.

Thermal throttling indicates your laptop is getting too hot. Cleaning it from inside is necessary, and the thermal paste likely needs replacement.
