Individuals are entitled to use their own funds freely. If it's an experience they've been eager for and believe they'll enjoy, then go ahead and place the order. I understand pre-ordering physical items like Halo 3 with a helmet can be unnecessary, but let those who wish to do so decide. Resist pushing your views on others; their money is theirs to manage.

The issue lies in pre-ordering leading to incomplete or poorly made games. It damages not only the individual who ordered early but also affects everyone involved (except perhaps some studio names).

They don’t push their views; they just remind you to do what you wish. We don’t mind, but pre-ordering can damage your own games and our experience—something we noticed back in 2014 with those poor Ubisoft titles. If you really want to stand out, go for it, but owning the right doesn’t guarantee doing what’s best.

When you pre-order a title such as GTA V for PC, you understand it comes from a trustworthy studio and they won’t release a subpar version.

I believe preordering is entirely unnecessary... like ordering an endless online code... there’s no reason. And if you’re preordering at places like GameStop for a console title, it makes sense since you’re a console player :ro. Jokes aside, I’ve never preordered and have always gone for midnight releases without any problems getting a copy.

In my view, pre-ordering feels a bit like gambling—occasionally it works, but more often it doesn’t. I think waiting would have been better. I haven’t ever told anyone “NOOO DON’T PRE-ORDER OR I WILL DEEM YOU SATAN!” My main thought was about pre-ordering GTA V, but I’d rather wait, just like with most games, to check how the port turns out.

It's better to stay calm because many people end up like Ubisoft when they don't optimize their games. How many think pre-orders for Assassin's Creed Unity were ruined? I believe a few did. Just follow the advice or skip it, but don’t return with a long thread about a game you preordered and how it went wrong. And about GTA V and the company not delivering, knock knock GTA IV wants to talk to you.
