You need to restart your computer and press the appropriate key during boot to choose the correct USB drive as the boot device. Make sure the setup file is properly installed before trying again.

consider using a different USB drive if you have another one. there seems to be an issue where some USBs don't work while others do. I own three identical USB drives purchased from the same store at the same time, but only one allows Windows to boot from it, and the other two display the same error message.

The Windows utility functions flawlessly, fetching files and setting up media automatically. Rufus demands prior ISO possession and understanding of legacy versus UEFI settings. Recommending it introduces extra steps you likely don’t need. Most users should simply access the boot menu and choose the target drive.

Your preferred Microsoft tool functions correctly. I believe it’s outdated since the last time I used it, it kept needing to download the operating system because it couldn’t save it to a USB drive. Every time I tried to re-download, Sword_Master67 already had the ISO ready. Would you need to install the tool and then burn the files to a USB, even though you think you already have the ISO?
