Hi, my name is Aayush. I recently installed a new PC and everything seems connected correctly. When I power it on, the external fan spins briefly before stopping instantly. The specs are: Ryzen 3 3200G (APU), ASRock B450 PRO4, HyperX Fury DDR4 3200MHz, 16GB RAM, Corsair VS550 550W PSU, and a 1TB hard drive. The PSU is working fine, the motherboard has the latest BIOS and matches the Ryzen 3000 series. I suspect something might be wrong with the APU itself. Could you help me figure out what’s going on?
I would still verify whether the board has been updated with the latest BIOS. Visit a computer store or contact the vendor if you purchased it new. Inquire about an update option. Wipe the CMOS and test one stick at a time. (If it's 2x8). Re-seat everything. How did you reach this conclusion? Did you acquire it used?
No the Psu is new but I checked it with my old PC and it works just fine.I have bought all components from amazon and the very title of MoBo says 3rd gen ryzen process supported and even on MoBo box there is a sticker saying it supports all 3000 series out of box.So,i am suspecting apu because even if motherboard it is not flashed to latest bios cpu fan and external fan should run at full speed indicating bios is not updated.what do you say?
No clues suggest the BIOS isn't compatible. Visit a shop to refresh the BIOS settings. Before proceeding, reset the CMOS. Reassemble everything carefully and test one component at a time, checking for any bent pins on the CPU.
