Avoid any visual effects once the new graphics card is installed.
I have a windows pc equipped with an i7-4770k and a gt 1030. It was functioning well with a 240w power supply, but after installing my gtx 1650 low profile in the HP EliteDesk 800 G1, which is an older gaming PC, the graphics card failed to show any signal. After waiting about 30 seconds, all the fans started running at maximum speed, so I turned it off immediately. I removed the GPU and used the integrated graphics, but the same problem persisted (no signal after 30 seconds). I also tested with the old gt 1030, which had the same issue. I understand that the minimum PSU requirement for the gtx 1650 low profile is 300w, yet many systems use a 240w power supply successfully. Anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this?
