I dislike any programs that push you to alter your web browser settings, as it seems the only acceptable choice. Fewer tech-savvy users will be tricked into using unnecessary toolbars, silly search engine presets, and other pointless defaults.

You definitely don’t like all free software options. Pick the tools you trust—like Ccleaner, Avast, Flash, Java, Utorrent, Skype—and decide whether to pay or skip some features.
