Hello everyone. I received a Rainbow Six Siege closed beta key that says it can be used on Steam or Uplay. If I decide to use Steam, would I still need to install Uplay, similar to how Blood Dragon worked where the Steam version redirected to Uplay? If so, I won’t bother at all. Gog Masterrace is still here.
This keeps me thinking about pulling out my own hair. I just want to play a game, but that mysterious company we don’t call is clearly acting like a jerk.
It's U-Play 2. It runs poorly, often taking me hours to load and getting stuck in the loading screen with ALT + F4. 3. I was excited about this game, had nothing bad to say, and enjoy the Rainbow series, but I didn't like it at all. It was entertaining for a short time, but I wouldn't recommend it. I think a completely different version would be better.
I've been waiting about a minute or two to join some matches, but I usually find a group in under 30 seconds. Regarding bugs, the biggest one was when I got caught in a grapple and slipped through the wall into another room—can't recreate it. Anyway, OP, it's just Uplay. If you purchase the game on Steam, it still starts with Uplay just like FC3: BD. As for playing the beta, it ends tomorrow, so only play if you're bored, I guess.
It varies from person to person, actually. Every time it occurred (it kept happening often), everyone in the lobby would say, "Aaaand it happened again, ALT + F4, bye guys," which made it seem like it was quite typical.
