I possess video clips, documents, and some audio files that I wish to secure. My desktop is shared with others, so far I've used partition/encryption tools like BitLocker or TrueCrypt. The main drawback is they aren't always easy to manage—requiring a password each time—and they don't adapt well to changing needs. I could create a dynamic encrypted drive but would still need to shrink the main partition and recreate the layout, which is inconvenient. Once unlocked, the partition becomes visible to other users, including guests. Encrypted File System (EFS) is another choice for me. However, files and folders using EFS remain accessible to other accounts, meaning guests can still view them. Are there other encryption methods available?
