i'm experiencing a problem where my 32gb ram setup is only using half of it. i've reset bios, updated bios, ensured it's not using igpu, and checked msconfig. my system specs are as follows: cpu - ryzen 5 2600, ram - corsair vengeance rgb pro 3600mhz, 4x8gb, mbo - msi b450 tomahawk, gpu - amd r9 390.
Review the virtual memory configurations. Refer to fix 3 at the provided link.
That Windows 7 Home Premium was upgraded to version 10. The HP Windows 7 had a maximum of 16GB of memory.
Windows 10 has a larger capacity than what you're thinking, but I wondered if the upgrade was problematic.
even if possible, the restriction won't carry over to Win10. The home version has a 128GB limit. A reinstall won't fix it. Suggest the user check their memory slots with a cleaner. This issue often stems from poor contact quality (based on my experience). Also, the Ryzen 2600 model doesn't support 3600 memory. Maximum around 2999MHz, and even less if all slots are occupied.
