I’m looking for some exceptionally silent 120mm computer fans suitable for gaming. Could you also advise on optimal mounting locations and the appropriate quantity I should purchase? I'm assembling a system consisting of a ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 2080 AMP 8GB GDDR6 256-bit Gaming Graphics Card with a triple fan metal backplate and LED, an AMD Ryzen 7 2700 Processor, and a Noctua NH-D15 SE-AM4 Dual-Tower CPU cooler. Specifically, I’d like to know about the noise level of the Noctua dual power fan.

The cooling unit measures 24.6 decibels.
Regarding your case fans, would you prefer standard models or those with illumination?
To achieve quiet operation, I’d opt for fans operating at less than 25 decibels.

The Corsair ML 120s offer impressive performance combined with silent functionality. I’m planning on purchasing some shortly to swap out my existing units.
