Hey everyone, I'm facing some issues with my ADATA Spectrix D60G RAM setup. It's paired with an X470 Aorus Ultra and an R5 2600. I managed to hit 3200MHz with XMP Profile 2, but I can't reach the advertised 3600MHz. From what I know, everything should be updated, yet after applying XMP Profile 1, I keep needing a few power cycles before Windows boots up as 2666 instead of the expected 3600. I'm not sure what to do next.

Second gen Ryzen runs smoothly at 3200MHz, but going above that could cause instability. Consider discarding the unit or waiting until you can reach 3600MHz for better performance. Use Ryzen Master to manually adjust your memory settings. Start with both the fabric and memory clocks set to 1800MHz, then let them auto-adjust. Check your RAM timing on the manufacturer’s website and input the recommended values. Set latency to 18, and adjust row precharge, read-row column delay, and write-row column delay to 20. Configure your active time at 39 and row cycle time at 58 before rebooting.

Newer CPUs usually max out around 3466MHz, but they need precise memory timing settings. The board itself can’t reach 3466MHz, so even with a 3600MHz profile it won’t work properly. This explains why the setup doesn’t run at full speed.

I notice something odd because both XMP and EZDOT overclocking can help reach 3600.

They are visible, yet they don’t indicate availability for use. Just as you can’t install 4400mhz RAM on a sixth generation Intel chip, you still notice the OC and XMP settings.
