Hello, I noticed a discussion about a monitor audio issue earlier. I’m sharing my own experience with an MSI G273 Monitor. The speakers aren’t working, even though it appears in the audio settings on my computer’s bottom right corner. I’ve tried connecting via DisplayPort and using an auxiliary cable from the monitor to the front panel jack on my PC, but the line out from the motherboard also doesn’t work. I recently switched from an Asus model using HDMI, where the speakers functioned perfectly. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Yes, they are set as the output in the sound preferences of your operating system.
From what I understand, the monitor lacks built-in speakers. It’s usually better to use a separate speaker setup.
