I recently received my Asus ZenBook with MaxxAudio/Audiowizard installed, but it’s been quite frustrating. Every time I power off and then turn it back on, the EQ automatically switches to one of its presets, which is really annoying. Now I have to manually adjust the settings through the MaxxAudio/Audiowizard interface each time I shut down the laptop. Today things got worse—when I try to silence the EQ, it won’t let me change anything. The preset buttons for "Music," "Movie," "Off," etc., are unresponsive, and it displays "MaxxAudio processec internal speakers output only." I’ve tried reinstalling RealTek and removing MaxxAudio/Audiowizard, but the audio remains muted instead of playing properly. Anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this? Ideally, I’d like to avoid using Audiowizard again. Note: The "... internal speakers output..." message appears regardless of what device I connect. Speakers, headphones, earplugs, and a Bluetooth speaker are all affected.
