Audio issues happen sometimes, followed by the computer freezing and needing a hard restart?
In general gaming and occasionally while using the desktop, I experience brief audio glitches or static, sometimes followed by total system freeze, audio interruption, unresponsive mouse or keyboard, and the need for a full restart. In the event viewer, each crash shows two key events: Event ID 219 indicates the driver Driver WudfRd failed to load for the device HIDVID_046D&PID_0AAA&MI_03&Col02_7&26d7e364&0&0001, likely related to my headset (Logitech G Pro X). Event ID 1 shows a fatal hardware error with a detailed record in the data section. I don’t recall the duration of these issues; they seem more severe now and sometimes occur during idle time or while gaming, sometimes after locking the computer. My current specs include an RTX 2070 upgraded to the 7900 XTX, Intel i5 12600k, 16GB RAM, Corsair RMx 850w power supply, and a dual SSD setup with two HDDs. I’m using Windows 10 (version 10.0.19045) and have not overclocked, though temperatures are normal during games. Any suggestions would be helpful—I’ve been quite puzzled without clear patterns in the crashes.
You may attempt reinstalling the audio drivers. Also, think about removing non-essential programs such as the amd Adrenalin software.
PSU age in your system?
For your GPU drivers, after executing DDU, did you manually reinstall the newest drivers from AMD's support page using an elevated command, such as right-clicking the installer and selecting Run as Administrator?
What is the BIOS version of your motherboard?

I made the graphics drivers current, refreshed the BIOS (though it seemed unnecessary since my changes were over a year old), and updated the audio drivers and headset firmware via G Hub. I also changed the USB port the headset used, as some users reported fixing static problems with this model. I played a bit of games while watching video on a second monitor for testing. Not a complete stress test, but the CPU stayed around 30-40% and the GPU at full capacity. No audio static or crashes occurred. The problem seems unpredictable, so I’ll update the thread if it happens again. Thanks for the advice so far!
Apologies for the delayed notification – I haven’t encountered any problems with audio, and my PC remains stable after following the steps. It’s not entirely certain, but I’m fairly confident the issue was linked to the audio drivers, as the event viewer indicated crashes whenever my PC froze.
