I've attempted everything before this. The change was a clean upgrade from an MSI Z170 M9 ACK to an ASUS ROG STRIX Z490-I GAMING today. My audio isn't coming through the headphone jack on either the front or rear panel, even though the Sound Control panel indicates playback is active. I can hear it through my USB headphones and two monitors (DisplayPort and HDMI). The front panel worked perfectly before the upgrade, so the port itself isn’t the problem. I've reinstalled drivers multiple times, adjusted settings, used CCleaner to clear registries, removed old files related to my previous MSI MOBO, and restarted several times. Now it looks like a fresh installation is the only solution, though I’d rather avoid that. Anyone else faced this issue when switching to a new MOBO from another manufacturer? Any advice would be appreciated!
