Hey there, I understand this might be frustrating. It sounds like the audio jack on your motherboard isn’t working properly. It seems you lost a critical DAC or audio chip. You should have replaced the motherboard right away once you noticed the lack of sound.

Well, I’m sure I’ll make the change later on. I’ve got an i5 9600k, and the motherboard won’t let me overclock it, so... I’ll go ahead and upgrade anyways. :3 I set everything up so the audio comes out through my main monitor using an audio jack connected to the speakers. That worked around the clock. But back then, this was my very first PC build. I had no idea it was a bad board—just a clumsy builder who didn’t understand what he was doing (me). XD
