I possess a system from last year powered by a Ryzen 5 5600X, ASRock X570 PG VELOCITA, and currently equipped with 32GB of Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3000MHz C16 RAM. My goal is to achieve 64GB of 3600MHz memory. My motherboard claims a daisy chain setup, but I recently purchased two upgrade kits without success. The first was the CORSAIR Vengeance RGB RT 64GB (2x32GB), which initially booted at 3000MHz but failed to support XMP after BIOS and CMOS resets. The second was the TEAMGROUP T-Force Xtreem ARGB 3600MHz CL18 (64GB). Both encountered similar issues—booting at low speeds, XMP failure post-reset, and inconsistent performance. After testing with Prime95 for a full hour, the system remained stable. However, upon rebooting, it would lose both sticks. I’m considering a larger 64GB configuration or a higher-capacity 4x16GB kit. Would you recommend trying another 2x32GB or a 4x16GB option?

Placed an order for a new batch. This version includes two XMP profiles; one runs above 3600MHz, which might help. File reference: KF436C18RBAK2_64.pdf

Adjusted the settings manually. That was the sole method I used to make the system function with four sticks.

The Kingston Fury Renegade performed better when RAM was installed and ran at 3600Mhz xmp. Turning it off led to hangs and restarts, but rebooting fixed the issue. Reboots were stable, while Prime95 caused crashes. Since it doesn’t come ready, I’ll return it now. The question is whether using 4x16Gb at 3600Mhz is better than lowering the clock speed—do I need 64Gb even with a slower frequency?

Review the specifications from your RAM modules and compare them with the data from a similar motherboard. Adjust your power supply settings accordingly.
