It's possible to attempt that. You might want to disable secure boot during installation for a short period.

I couldn't locate it anywhere, just thinking about it. I have an MSI H110M PRO-VD PLUS. I'm using a 120GB SSD and a 1TB HDD.

Ensure your motherboard supports dual BIOS/UEFI settings, change to BIOS mode for better performance

Consider turning off Secure Boot in the BIOS settings. Ensure USB 3.0 drivers are installed on your Windows 7 installer when using a USB 3.0 port. Windows 7 doesn’t include USB 3.0 drivers by default, so adding them is necessary.

I located it, turned it off, and used a USB 2 flash drive connected via the USB 2 port. Everything functioned smoothly without any issues during setup. However, after that, it prompted for DVD drivers or something similar. I tried everything but couldn't get it to work. I downloaded drivers from Intel, installed them on a drive from another PC, but still faced problems. Eventually, I installed Windows 10. By chance, it worked perfectly with no issues, but I was hoping for Windows 7 instead of Windows 10.

If you burned the ISO to a DVD, it should install smoothly, as these driver problems usually tie to Windows 7 installations via USB. Searching for the DVD driver error might reveal issues if the USB disconnects during setup or if a specific driver is absent. You can obtain the necessary driver and install it during the process. It seems you’ve likely seen this before and attempted the steps demonstrated.
