In the videos I reviewed, the motherboard feels slightly stiff at the back plate, though the included back plate had many long screws.

the screws are located in the intel mounting slot mentioned in the manual that came with the cooler. check the am4 mounting guide for details.

The am4 guidelines indicate that the backplate fasteners are meant to be present beforehand.

Learn how to detach it and install it properly for AM4 Intel and AMD models. If AM4 has its own backplate, the manual will explain the difference.
