I've checked the EVGA SR-2 issue with the SATA 3 slots, and the recommended fix was flashing the controller. However, the ISO files for 1701 and other versions are missing, making it hard to use your floppy drive since it can't write beyond 460-480 KB. You can find a download link here: [link]

For the floppy you might need to adjust the disc itself (not just the quick format). It will take some time to reformat. Older or newer floppies often fail after just a few uses before needing another reformat. Consider switching to a different drive or floppy.

You also own an SR-2. Which controller are you updating? Did you adjust the settings in BIOS or perform any overclocking?

I think the SATA III controller you're using is the Marvell controller. I've reset the CMOS, but the only adjustment was enabling the SATA III ports, yet it still doesn't function properly.

I located an unlisted CD, created its ISO, and it functions properly, but the latest update indicates the adapter isn’t detected.

It seems unusual. The SATA 3 controller has failed and then restarted. Has this issue occurred with your setup? Is the SATA interface configured in AHCI mode?

No, I didn't purchase the board expecting everything to function, and indeed SATA operates in AHCI mode.
