You're using a GA-M68MT-S2 motherboard, which is compatible with Intel Core processors. For gaming, consider an Intel Core i5 or i7 processor with at least 8GB RAM and a solid-state drive. If you want the best performance, look for a high-end i7 or i9 with strong graphics support.

You can install up to a Phenom II X6 1090 T 1055T on that board, that's all. It doesn’t sound bad at all—they actually offer decent performance for their time. The only issue I noticed is the power supply might not be strong enough for an X6 setup.

The board lists supported CPUs up to the 1055T and mentions a 95W power limit. You can look up compatible processors using a search engine.
