Attempting to grasp how an ATX power supply functions.
I’m trying to determine how to run a single 850W power supply for two systems. I know this might not work, but here are the details.
In fact, I aimed to operate each system separately yet possibly both at the same time. Being unable to do so isn't a major issue, but it can be quite frustrating in my case. I examined my expanding set of M.2 drives and discovered three models—Mint, Tuxedo, and Winblows10—and placed them in the corresponding slots on my B550 Aorus Master board. This setup addresses the dual system challenge, though it still demands a reboot and boot device selection to change platforms, which is quite inconvenient. Now I’m curious whether there’s a method to prompt the BIOS to launch its own bootloader and choose a specific device.
