You'll require a reader or writer device. Unless you buy a ready-made SD card, you might need to purchase one separately from sites like eBay or Amazon. Some pre-set SD cards already include everything you need.

You already have a Raspberry Pi functioning with Raspbian. You can install and set up the RetorPie interface yourself using the provided manual guide: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Manual-Installation/. The available image is designed to simplify the process.
