Is this a public server? It could be overloaded. If the count of members is an approximate value, that’s likely the case. You might want to test another invitation link.

At various times they have closed the discord to new members due to not having enough mod staff. I believe there may also be a restriction on the age of the account?

They didn't tell me about this before. I hadn't experienced any problems until now, but it's definitely a possibility. My profile is only a couple of days old, and they might have blocked it for new users.

They handled it over several months. Around once a week there was some discussion about it. It happened about a year or two ago.
