I built this setup on Monday and encountered stability and temperature problems. I planned to boost the CPU later after research, but factory overclocking caused it to reach 100°C under heavy load. Right now I prefer running at stock speeds, though there’s no way to disable the overclock in BIOS. I can adjust settings manually, but as a new overclock enthusiast I’m unsure what changes to make. From the defaults I changed: performance mode turned off, Vcore fixed at 1.365V (mostly stable), and XMP enabled. Even with these, voltages spike to 1.5V occasionally. I’m not sure if those values are safe, and I’m curious about the accuracy of HWMonitor for temperature readings. Thanks in advance.

I delayed because the steps were unclear and involved tricky DOS settings and file editing. It turned out a simple flashing worked perfectly. The default auto settings are now 1.360, though I experienced a BSOD after a Windows reboot, where the PC wouldn’t boot twice. It seems disabling XMP helped resolve the issue. A quick search suggests this is the standard voltage, which is great! Thanks for guiding me in the right direction.

Great question! Did it help? Your RAM speed is 4266. You can enable XMP and then reduce it to around 4000 or 3800. Keep other settings unchanged, just lower the RAM frequency slightly. It might be that your memory controller isn’t powerful enough.

XMP functioned this time, though it might crash at any moment I'll reduce it to 4000mhz. The temperatures also fell into acceptable ranges.
