Attempting to adjust the EFI area but encountering an obstacle from MSR
Hey all, I'm trying to expand my EFI boot partition for a Linux dual boot to work correctly. However, I cannot reallocate the space as the 16MB Windows MSR partition is in the way. Attached is a screenshot from Minitool Partition Wizard showing what I'm dealing with. Any free space from C: cannot be moved past the 16MB "other" partition to the EFI partition for the Linux install. How can I reallocate the space? I would prefer not to reinstall Windows, but I understand if that's the easiest way to do this.
Create an EFI partition of your desired size, then duplicate its contents to the new partition. (Keep the original intact until you confirm it functions properly)
