Greetings,

I recently purchased a new ASUS ROG PG248Q 144Hz gaming monitor from eBay and integrated it into my current dual-screen configuration. My other two displays are an ASUS PB238Q and a VH236H, both of which operate at 60Hz. The PB238Q connects via HDMI, while the VH236H uses DVI. The PG248Q is connected by DisplayPort. All three monitors are linked to a single EVGA GTX 1070, powered by a 650W EVGA power supply.

I’ve attempted the following troubleshooting steps:

* Configuring Windows Advanced Graphics Settings for a 144Hz refresh rate.
* Adjusting each monitor’s refresh rate to 144Hz within the NVIDIA Control Panel.
* Experimenting with fullscreen and borderless window display modes.
* Disabling VSync in both the NVIDIA Control Panel and within games like Borderlands 2, Far Cry 5, and The Witcher 3.
* Increasing the frame rate limit slider in those same games to “unlimited.”
* Turning off the other two monitors and testing with just the 144Hz monitor via NVIDIA Control Panel.
* Activating overclocking features in the PG248Q’s settings and manually setting the monitor to 180 fps.

Despite these efforts, all three games consistently display a stable frame rate of 59-60 fps whenever I leave the game’s menu. What am I overlooking?
